Cliff co-founded Scotia Partners and leads its wealth management business, where he helps families align the stewardship of their financial resources with what matters most to them.
His path began in 2001 at an advisory firm in Chester County, then took an entrepreneurial turn when he joined his father, Paul, to build and sell an investment research business. There, Cliff learned trading and portfolio construction from the ground up, experience that resulted in the investment strategies behind Scotia's launch as an advisory firm in 2006.
In 2016, Cliff stepped away from Scotia to hone his craft on one of the industry's biggest stages, at Vanguard. In their Investment Management Group, he worked alongside the Equity Index portfolio management team as a lead Investment Risk Manager, partnering to drive strong investment outcomes for more than $2 trillion in shareholder assets. He then spent over seven years leading a team of portfolio analysts and strategists in Vanguard's Financial Advisor Services group, equipping sophisticated advisors with market insights, portfolio construction expertise, practice management guidance, and technology solutions.
As his professional life progressed, the direction and vision became clear: the work Cliff valued most was the work closest to the people it serves. Today, he has returned to Scotia, bringing over 25 years of experience, from entrepreneurial start-up to institutional scale, to serve and partner with households who see wealth not as the goal but as the means to a life well lived, shaped by what matters most to them - values, passions, service, impact, and legacy.
Outside the office, Cliff and his wife, Julie, are active in their local church and give their time to non-profit boards and volunteer service. They treasure every minute with their young adult children and growing family, and they are enjoying the peace of a nest where the birds have been launched!
